FRIDAYTHOUGHTS #269: THE TIME IS NOW

The time is now.

We’re down to the wire – today, we have exactly two months left in 2024. That’s eight weeks to close the year. Whether you’ve made big strides this year or if you fell off the wagon way back in January, it doesn’t matter. Wherever you are in your journey, let’s finish this year strong. Let’s pick it up a notch.

The key to feeling joy is progress. When a plane sits idle without flying, it deteriorates. When a car isn’t driven, it falls apart. It’s the same with us - when we stay too comfortable, we lose ourselves. Progress brings joy. And embracing discomfort until it feels comfortable: that’s the real path to happiness. Read that again.

So, if you’re looking for a sign, let this be it. Let’s pick it up a notch, or get in the game if you haven’t already. No matter how the year has gone, let’s finish it strong. Let’s head into 2025 with a momentum we’ve never seen before.

Tonight, at my meetup, we talked about the fact that you have to go through hell to get to heaven. There is no easy route in life. Either you choose the hard of what you really want, or you choose the hard of regret. The goal is to take whatever pain or trauma you go through, because it’s part of the human experience—and turn it into something greater. Ascend. Don’t get stuck in blaming, complaining, or staying the same—transform. Become an alchemist, take your pain, and ascend to new heights.

Ascend.

Ascend so high that life becomes easy. Yes, I said it. Life can become easy. You can get to the point where you’re creating your own version of heaven on earth. It’s about reaching that tipping point where things flow, and you’re in harmony with your purpose. To do that, you have to keep rising. Embrace every beautiful challenge along the way, because that’s the path to creating your version of heaven on earth.
So, wherever you are—whether you just started or have been on this path all year—keep going/growing. Now is the time to step it up. Let’s close this year out strong n' rest up over the holidays.

Progress brings joy, and the more joy and peace you bring to your life, the more you’ll spread that to the people you’re put here to serve. I see you and believe in you.
