FRIDAYTHOUGHTS #253: DON'T WASTE ANY OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH

Don't waste any opportunity for growth.

Not one beautiful morsel.

Growing up we were only taught to look at the normally positive circumstances as growth, and the negative circumstances were looked upon as, well, negative...bad, something to complain or become bitter over. 

Now, I'm not here to undermine anyone's experiences: whether from childhood or as an adult. Trust me, I'm not undermining or belittling any painful experience you have faced. That's the last thing that I would do, especially having experienced many painful experiences from losing family, etc. I wouldn't do that, however, the good news is that EVERY one of those painful/traumatic experiences you've faced has an inherent opportunity in it. Read that again.

Every challenging/painful or even traumatic experience has so much opportunity it...and it's just waiting for your character to elevate enough to perceive it.

There are some gifts in life that you can only open when you have the right perspective.

I'm not blaming you for what you may have gone through, the trauma or pain you've experienced growing up wasn't your fault, however, now as an adult it is your responsibility to be the change you want to see.

It is your responsibility. That is your gift back to the world: the most healed/greatest version of you.

We all make choices and the good news is that you and I can decide to make any change we desire at any moment - including today. This very moment.

If you were looking for a sign, then let this be the sign. You were put here for a reason and people need what you have. 

Remember, life is not just about enduring hardships and living for the weekends, nope; it's about elevating your character to see the opportunity for growth in everything and in every day. When you shift your perspective, you'll realize that everything is conspiring for you, and disappointments simply don't exist—better always comes.

Yes indeed...please don't waste any perfectly great opportunity for growth. Whatever challenge you may currently be facing, make sure you get a reward for it...because that's what it was made for.  I see you, champion.
