Make beautiful new mistakes II.

Yes part deux. I just remembered that I had the same title a few months ago...but the title's so good, we're gonna do it again lol.

We've been taught that mistakes are "bad," they have been given a negative connotation. I mean, it's never fun to make a mistake, right? But are we doing it wrong? I say "yes, we are."

We are absolutely doing it wrong. Mistakes should excite you, they simply mean that you're one step closer to your goal. Mistakes are simply necessary steps to success in any endeavor. It's a part of life. Everyone makes mistakes. It's like the sun coming up and the sun going down...it's going to happen. Just learn/grow from them.

Mistakes are only bad for two reasons: One, you don't learn something from it. And two, you don't put a system together so you can significantly lower the probability of that mistake ever happening again. That's it.

Anything worthwhile will have many mistakes for you to grow and learn from to complete, c'est normal. That's life, and there is no getting around it. Once people can accept this fact and stop taking it as a personal barometer of their self-worth and focus on the growth opportunity it, then and only then will people keep going/growing, and in that process, they will eventually achieve their goal.

I remember someone told me they were afraid to go after their dream because they didn't want to fail. So they fail by default by not even trying...and that's not necessary once they reprogram their mind.

Upgrade your mindset and upgrade your skill set—win at everything.

My hope for you is that this upcoming week and second half of this beautiful new year is that you continue making mistakes. Yes, continue making beautiful, gorgeous, and eye-opening mistakes and continue to learn and grow from them all...as you do that, realizing all of your goals/dreams will only be a matter of time.
