FRIDAYTHOUGHTS #240: WHO/WHAT IS YOUR GOD?

Who/what is your God?

Everyone has a God. Everyone...yes athiests included lol. 

I'll explain.

Everyone has something that means the most to them, everyone has that one thing that they truly live for. 

Now someones God could be: family, wealth, career, politics, beauty, relationships, pleasure, travelling, etc. and the list goes and on and on. 

I think you get my point...every single person breathing has a God: that thing that they truly live for. It's usually the thing that they most talk about and share with the people in their circle, you know exactly what I mean. 

Everyone has a God...we all worship something.

Now, the question is: what are your worshipping? What is that thing that means the most to you? And what would you do if it was taken away?

Years ago when I was still in University, I worked often while in school and my God was my work. My job meant the most to me, outside of my family...and when I lost interest in that job and I stopped working often, I felt kinda lost.

It was my identity and it was at that moment that I realized that I needed more than my work to define my life's purpose. 

Thankfully, I stumbled on a few books on the mind, purpose, etc. and my perspective was changed, I realized that we are all put here for a reason and finding that reason is the most important part of this journey as spiritual beings having a human experience. 

Remembering the reason why we chose to be here at this point in time is the most important question to answer...and I realized that everything is enhanced when you enhance your mindset...and as you are on this journey of self-discovery, you'll discover YOU.

You'll discover: purpose. Oh that beautiful purpose...and whatever your purpose it will undoubtedly inspire others to find theirs.

Everything is enhanced when you enhance your mindset/skillset and walk in your purpose. 

Seek your God-given purpose and everything else will be given to you. It's law.

You're not just living for the weekends and summer vacations, nope, you're living to give the world the most healed and greatest version of you and in that process you'll inspire others to do the same. It's like the zombie apocalypse...but in the opposite. ;)

Who or what is your God? 

When it's your God-given purpose...my friend, everything changes. 

You are put here for a reason...a powerful/beautiful reason and when you find that reason, you'll share the most healed/greatest version of you with the ppl that you were put here to serve...and that's a beautiful thing.
