FRIDAY THOUGHTS #211: HAVE THE COURAGE

Have the courage.

Listen, I know it's not easy. I know. I know it's tough. Trust me, I know that the journey towards your goal/dream or more importantly your purpose will take everything in you.

I know and it's supposed to be that way. 

It's not supposed to be easy...and that's what makes it beautiful.

You'll be uncomfortable, embrace it. You'll not always want to do the things you know you should, do them anyways. It'll feel like you may be taking 100 steps backwards, walk anyways. Your clothes may be dirty, wear them anyways. Your legs may be sore, rest when needed but climb anyway.

What I am saying is that it doesn't matter the discomfort you experience, it really doesn't. Please don't forget that you're heaven is just around the corner from discomfort. 

It's the growth in the discomfort that sets you free, endure it.

I repeat: your heaven is just around the corner from your discomfort. So keep going, keep growing and continue enduring the discomfort until it becomes comfortable. It's only a matter of time. I mean, what's the alternative? Go back to what you've been used to? Go back to what you hate? Go back to Egypt like the Israelites murmured about in the Bible? (that reference is for all of my current or former Bible readers lol)

When you think about it's not much of an option. So go forward and trust the process. The work is working as you work it. Continue to have the courage and keep working, keep going, keep growing...that compound interest looks beautiful on you. #bless
