FRIDAY THOUGHTS #194: FOCUS ON THE GOOD

Focus on the good.

Yes, I know this sounds overly simplistic. We hear this said all the time, but it's true. Sometimes it's the simple/basic things that can change our entire lives. Everyone wants to make this life overly complicated but it's not, it's fairly simple: you're creating your experience based off of your mindset and you have the power to change it.

Now, if you focus on the good...you'll see more good. If you focus on the opposite...you'll see more of that as well. It's just that simple. The glass is either half full or it's half-empty, you choose. You choose whether or not you'll believe in your inherent greatness. You choose whether or not you'll do the inner/outer work necessary to believe. You choose. You choose whether or not you'll share your best version with the world. You choose whether or not you'll display your full purpose with us, you choose...and you choose by your daily habits. 

You choose by all the "little" things you do on a daily basis, day in and day out. You are always choosing, you are ultimately in charge of your focus, so if you aren't feeling good - that is directly correlated to your thoughts, not necessarily your circumstance. Think good, feel good - it is not situation dependent.

If there was someone in this world that found peace, joy and overcame whatever situation you're currently facing, that means you can too. If someone else has won with the hand that was given to you, that's not luck, nor are they any better than you. Not at all. No one is better than anyone, just some have better mindsets. The good news is that you can change your mindset when you do the work.

Focus on the good and you'll see more of it. 

Focus on the good in any situation and you'll see the opportunity for growth in it. Focus on the good in any situation and you become unstoppable.

I see you being intentional with your focus, being intentional with your thoughts and reprogramming your mindset. Continue doing that inner/outer work that compound interest looks beautiful on you.
