FRIDAY THOUGHTS #191: FIND THE GOOD

Find the good.

Every friday I post a reel on my business social media profiles about gratitude and how important it is - I call it: #gratitudefridays. It may just sound like a cute slogan, but it's far from that. I mean...yeah lol it is a "cute" slogan, true, but it's a lot deeper than most would think.

Simply put, gratitude is a life hack. 

Matter of fact, it's more than just a life hack - the more you are able to see the opportunities in every situation, the happier you'll be. 

As we all know, "life happens" and if we keep living long enough, life is going to "punch you in the face" many times. Challenges happen, it's just a part of life and there is no way around it. You will experience pain and trauma in this lifetime. You will experience doors being closed that you wished were opening. You'll experience heartbreak. You'll experience trauma. You'll experience falling down over and over again...you'll experience so much, however, the moment you realize that everything is conspiring for you, that is the moment your rebirth begins. The moment you realize that everything is conspiring for you, that is the moment you begin to search for the blessings in everyone of your "problems".

You'll realize that problems are simply God's way of getting our attention, telling us it's time to make a change.

You are what you focus on...and when you focus on the fact that there is an inherent blessing in every situation, you'll start to find the gifts embedded in everyone of them...and when you find that gift, you'll give thanks.

Yes, you'll have gratitude.

When you find the good in every situation, when you find beauty in the midst of your storms you will give thanks. When you master this, you have reached a dangerously beautiful level of character. This shift in your mindset will change everything in your life.

Everything.

Can you dance in the storm? Well, when you have the faith to see where the storm is taking you, you'll not just dance - you'll bake a pie as well. :)

There is a blessing in your storms, it just takes a level of character to reveal it. If you're reading this, I know what level of character you have, continue seeing the beauty in each of your ugly situations. Your growth in character is looking beautiful on you.
