FRIDAY THOUGHTS #173: GOD'S SACRED GUIDANCE

God's sacred guidance.

When you have to ask a question about something, the easy hack is to simply ask yourself. Yes, ask yourself and follow your "gut" instincts. You know that feeling of knowing...if you get really still, quiet your mind and meditate on it for awhile, the answer will become pretty obvious. No, you're not crazy, you haven't been smoking too much weed lol okay maybe you have, but that's not the point - the point is that your "gut feelings" are God's divine and sacred guidance in your life and the more you exercise trusting it, the stronger it becomes.

I wish I understood this years ago. I wish I understood that those "gut feelings" are there to save you from unnecessary heartache and pain. 

When I was in University I met someone and fell in love, we eventually got married, she's definitely a very good person we were just not very good for each other, however, my point is that the moment I planned to propose to her I had this "feeling in my gut" that it was the wrong thing to do. I just didn't have the experience or understanding to know what that meant. It's interesting because I have talked with so many other divorced people and I always ask them this question: "did you have a gut feeling before you got married that it was the wrong thing to do?", not surprisingly everyone I talk to has the same answer: "yes! I knew in my heart it was wrong"

We all know. 

We all know the answers to our questions. We've always known the answers, our "gut feelings" never lie, we just haven't learned to trust it.  We haven't been taught the power of intuition. We haven't been taught how much easier our lives will be when we fully commit to trusting it.

You don't have to have all the logical answers if you feel that some person, some place or something is "off"...you don't need answers, you'll get the answers later, simply trust your gut feelings and move accordingly NOW. Not tomorrow but now, the answers will catch up.

So are you not sure about your next move? Just ask your gut and be willing to move accordingly when you receive the answer. Our intuition is God's sacred guidance champion.
