FRIDAY THOUGHTS #160: REMEMBER
Remember.
When life gets rough, when life gets tough and when life throws you another hurdle that may seem unbearable...I need you to remember. I need you to remember the principles that have gotten you this far. Life principles such as: everything is conspiring for you, trust the process of life, disappointments don't exist better always comes, etc.
And I don't want you to just recite these principles verbatim...I want you to remember the moments in your life that these principles were displayed. I want you to remember those situations in your life when it seemed like everything was going wrong but it turned out to simply prepare you for so many better things to go right.
I want you to remember those moments in your life when something you were highly anticipating failed to materialize as expected. I want you to remember how disappointing that felt in your soul...but then I want you to remember the exponential blessing that came from that "disappointment". I want you to remember. Remember all of those moments.
Take your time and remember every closed door that simply prepared you for a larger more significant door to open in the future. Everything truly is conspiring for you.
I had to move in with my Uncle a few years ago - I didn't have an option at that time. Years later I am so thankful for the opportunity to live with my Uncle, I grew as a human in so many ways that I wouldn't have if I didn't spend that time with him. It's truly been one of the biggest blessings in the past few years for me. I love that man, our bond has been unshakeable because of it.
I am sure you are thinking of many of your own examples. Remember them all. Write them down if you must and go over them when your faith gets weak - when your faith is tested and the "disappointments" seem to continue adding up. Write them down and read them when necessary. Heck, read them daily.
Never forget the principles of life: Everything is conspiring for you. Disappointments don't exist, better always comes. Trust the process of life.
I see you champion. #keepgoing
