FRIDAY THOUGHTS #155: ADJUSTMENTS
Adjustments.
Life is all about making adjustments. When you learned how to walk, your legs and balance get stronger in time as you make the proper physical adjustments. When you learned how to ride a bike, you undoubtedly fell off the bike a few times until you finally made the proper adjustments to ride the bike correctly. I've trained boxing and muay thai for a few years and when your sparring, if you constantly get hit by a certain punch/kick - you know that you need to make some defensive adjustments.
Heck, think of your worst relationship? I'm positive you've made plenty of adjustments in your dating life so you can be in position for a much healthier relationship. I'm sure you've already made many adjustments when it comes to your relationships, finances, health and happiness.
Life is a series of adjustments and I believe that the man/woman that lives a life of happiness is the man/woman that is better at making life's necessary adjustments. God is giving us signs all the time, those signs are in the form of pain (challenges, frustration, loss, etc.). Pain is how God gets your attention and the goal of that pain is for you to make some necessary adjustments.
It's taken me many years to learn some lessons and a few days for others. It's the process of life. The longer it takes for us to learn the lesson, the longer it takes to be prepared for our next level.
Life is about the adjustments. Do you know that you need to go to bed earlier? Meditate? Read? Eat healthier? Whatever it is, the blessings that you have been patiently waiting for are waiting for you to make the necessary adjustments before they are realized.
What you are seeking is seeking you my friend. Make the adjustments this upcoming week...but just remember, it's all about progress over perfection. You have what people need - continue to do the inner/outer work to give it to them. #blessingsonblessings
