FRIDAY THOUGHTS #127: PREPARATION

 

Preparation.

When you have a goal in your heart and you've made the decision that it's a must to manifest it - you're halfway there. At that point, it's only a matter of time before the manifestation is evident in this realm. The loftier the goal/dream, the longer it takes for you to cultivate the character needed to manifest it.

For instance, if you are planning on being a world champion Boxer this will take many many years.

Muhammed Ali began training at the age 12, and, at age 18, had won a gold medal in the 1960 Summer Olympics. In 1964, Ali defeated the heavily favored Sonny Liston in six rounds to become heavyweight champion in which he declared, "I am the greatest!".  

That's a total of 10 years! Yes, it took Ali 10 years in total to become a world champion while the majority of people give up on their dream and settler after the first few months of facing adversity.  ALL the greats faced adversity, they just had the will to persevere.  The problem is that the majority of people never realize their inherent greatness and settle for a life that is either mediocre or very good, but not great.

The majority of people are scared to be great. They get punched in the face and settle for something that they believe they are capable of instead of what they truly desire. People do that in almost every area of life: they settle in their finances, relationships/marriages, health, mindset, etc. The smaller your vision - the easier it will be to accomplish. 

What I'm saying is that I believe we all have "Michael Jordan" level's of talent inside of us and it takes becoming obsessed with fulfilling your purpose to realize that gift and share it with the world. I don't care what your "job title" is, there is a world-class champion in you and the world will be a better place when you refuse to settle for anything less than manifesting that true version of you. 

When you begin to look to create significance in this world, your second life begins. Now, this will take time - don't despise the process, embrace it. The Universe is preparing you to become the person needed to handle your dreams manifestation. Only a chosen few will do the inner/outer work necessary to realize it...if you're reading this, I know you're one of them who will. I see you, keep going and continue to share your gifts with the world. You're needed more than you know. Just remember - it's all just preparation. #bless
