FRIDAY THOUGHTS #105: IT'S A LONELY ROAD

It's a lonely road.

When your mindset evolves, you begin to think differently than the majority...and in turn you begin to disconnect more and more with the majority. You've seen it your own life, I can guarantee it. Once you become serious about self-development and evolving into the very best-version of yourself, you'll realize  that 99.9% of people are not taking this route. Yes, 99.9% of people have not dedicated their lives to being the best version of themselves and it shows. You are now in very limited company.

You realize that you have to continue your journey without those people that you've always known; the people that you may have spent many years with. It will be: family members, friends, girlfriends/boyfriends, husbands/wives, colleagues, etc. You'll realize that you simply don't "connect" with them anymore...you still love them but it's not the same. You'll realize that the conversations that you once thought entertaining and engaging are now simply boring and uninteresting. 

You've evolved and the truth of the matter is...most people won't evolve with you. They may say they want the mountaintop, but their actions convey their insincerity. You may ask yourself, "why am I so different?" Or "Why wouldn't everyone want the very best of life?!" I know. I've asked myself the same thing over and over again and I realize that it's just the way it is, be very very very grateful that you have a growth mindset - you are a privileged minority and the world needs what you have champions.

Yes, it's a lonely road...but for a time only. You're evolving into the person you've always were. At the right time you'll find your tribe, matter of fact, they'll find you. Wait for it...
