FRIDAY THOUGHTS #97: Challenges

Challenges.

The one thing people don't tell you before you start a company is how fucking hard it's going to be lol seriously. I just talked with a friend the other day who started his company a few years ago as well, he mentioned how we was "snaked" out of an $18k contract by one of his co-founders. That individual that robbed him from a lucrative deal has since left the company. He mentioned how him and his other co-founder having grown from the situation and it was great to hear someone realize that there is always beauty in pain. He was able to laugh about it now, although it hurt...I'm sure it hurt very much. As entrepreneurs we know how hard we have work to build a company. He jokingly asked, "why in the hell one ever tells budding entrepreneurs how difficult the journey is?!!!!" We both laughed, we laughed because we more than understand the pain.

I believe this paradigm for business is the same for anyone of life's goals. No matter what the goal is you are planning to achieve, I don't care what it is - it will be damn hard my friend. The bigger the goal, the bigger the mountain to climb. The bigger the dream, the longer the process. I didn't create the rules - that's just the way it is.

I'm actually glad it is as challenging as it is, I really am. It means you have to really grow into the person to carry those gifts, and the Universe/God has so many gifts that already have your name on it. It's a beautiful journey of self-development...it's a beautiful journey back home.
