Conspiracy Theory.
At this point the continent of N. America is extremely divided on almost every topic: you have the Left vs. the Right, Democrats vs Republican, Vaxxers vs. Antivaxxers, masks vs. anti-masks, abortion vs. anti-abortion, etc. In the midst of this we have so many conspiracy theory's as to why certain things are happening...you've heard them all. You've probably just debated this with a colleague this week.
At this point it really doesn't matter what part of the spectrum you are with any controversial topic in the media, what matters is that you conserve your energies and not try to convince anyone of your point of view...especially if you see they are not open to understanding you. It was never your responsibility to change anyone anyways, it's hard enough changing ourselves and that's who we should be focused on changing. You should be so advanced that the very thought of trying to change someone never crosses your mind...the only thought you ideally should have is: how can I spread more love in their life.
Everyone is on their own journey, allow them to journey - your very presence/character and the way you live your life should be testimony enough. Lately I seldom get into debates about certain topics and as I realize that planting seeds is important, I'm also wise enough to realize that it's none of my business. I also realize that the battle that may come with it in today's emotionally explosive political climate is definitely not worth the time/energy. The one thing you can never get back is your time. Never waste your energy on battles with no spoils. It doesn't matter who is "right" or "wrong" - disengage. Stop wasting your time. People will come to the realization of things on their own, the same way we all will, and we've all had at times proven to be incorrect. I'm wise enough to know that I don't know it all and that I'm still learning/growing in the process. If what you believe is true, then at the correct time you won't have to say anything...history will speak for itself. What's in the dark will come to the light.
P.S. things are only a conspiracy theory until they're not.
The country is more divided than ever. It's time to focus our energies into expanding our mindsets, improve our health and increase our bank accounts. It's time to find our tribes and grow with them. Life as we knew of it has changed - drastically, however, we also know that with every great change comes great opportunity.
Let's focus on the opportunities that are presenting themselves. Let's focus on ourselves and love everyone we've ever come across in the process. As I stated: focusing on ourselves will keep us busy enough. No need to speak another word or "convince" anyone of anything, currently that's even lower ROI than it ever was. Execute your game-plan, stop wasting time and increase your consciousness in the process. You have what people need...continue to do the inner work and give it to them. I see you champion #keepgoing
