FRIDAY THOUGHTS #58: SUDDENLY

Suddenly.

I've always felt this way...I felt in my heart that when the seasons change to summer in many situations that it will happen: suddenly.  You've heard the saying in show business: "it took them 10 years to be an overnight success". Yes, when it happens...it happens big, it happens fast, so fast that some people will usually chalk it up to that person being super talented, or being at the right place at the right time, or simply getting lucky by being part of the "lucky gene pool" gang.  As you know...all of this doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what your background is...it doesn't matter about your: race, gender, socio-economic status, religion, weight, sexual orientation, relationship status, current income, etc. Nada...nothing. I don't care who or what you are...you attain your dreams and ultimately your purpose by simply changing your mindset.

Mindset privilege is the only privilege I attest to.

With the correct mindset: you will move mountains. With the wrong mindset: you wouldn't even know the mountains exist, and if you did know, you wouldn't believe you could move them anyway. Your mindset is everything. Change your mindset, change everything. However after you change your mindset and enter the journey to your dreams/purpose...the next part is: the waiting game. The God/Universe tests to see how bad you want it...and just as important, God/Universe prepares you for that thing. I'm so thankful certain things didn't happen the way I had planned...we can't see around the corner but we don't have to. I could care two-shits about what's around the corner at this point in my life...I mean, I'm prepared for the worst and best scenarios, however, I know that when the smoke clears everything will serve us.  Everything.  You just have to have the patience and endurance to endure the "waiting period" along the treacherous journey. Or as they call it in the Bible: your wilderness journey in the desert.

It may take many, many years, however, once you find joy in the journey...in the challenges, you find joy in life. You find a peace. Life is a series of challenges, all meant to prepare us for who we've always been. Enjoy this beautiful journey that we're blessed to be on. Do the work to increase your confidence and faith in the process. It may be a long haul, however, you got what you need and if you stay faithful and hold on without having a loss of enthusiasm. in an instant things will change. And it will happen...suddenly.
