FRIDAY THOUGHTS #48: YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

You know what to do.

Yes...you do. We all know what to do...if we simply listen to that voice in our gut, truly listen to it and be led by it - we will reach our destination.

I wasn't sure what to even write tonight.  The first thought that popped into my head was the idea that so many of our problems could be alleviated if we simply did the thing we know we should: getting up on time, going back to school, going to the gym, eating healthier, saving more money, being more disciplined, starting that relationship, leaving that relationship or simply changing our behaviors in that relationship and the list goes on.  We all know what we should do but the reason we don't do them is because we haven't been burned bad enough by it - the pain of not doing what we should do hasn't scorched us yet...and that is why I love when I see people hit rock bottom.

I love it.

Because at rock bottom you have the opportunity to either get better or bitter...there is no in between. You are forced to make a decision and if enough quality "seeds" have been planted in your life you will take full advantage of that beautiful opportunity (disguised as pain) and get better. You will level up. You will level up so high that in time you will look back on the situation that caused so much pain and be so thankful that it ever happened.

That's the point of challenges: it's simply an opportunity to level up. It's all an opportunity...life is this beautiful organized chaos that once you understand the process - you trust it. You learn to not just trust it but embrace it. You become thankful for the process...you take full advantage of it and that's where your power is.

You're powerful. Extremely. Life is working for you...continue to do the work to reprogram your mind to gain more confidence in this truth.  Your opportunities are in your pain...and this pandemic has created many opportunities. Never let a good crisis go to waste champion. Never let a great opportunity to level up go to waste. Take full advantage of them all...all of them.

People need what you have...give it to them. #bless 👊🏾
