FRIDAY THOUGHTS #29: IT'S BEAUTIFUL IN THE END
It's beautiful in the end.
As kids most of used to play video games I'm sure. There was this one video game wayyyy back in the day called Zelda lol I remember playing it as a kid and we would literally take weeks to pass through all the levels and finally WIN! I remember the feeling of winning...it was like I won the lottery lol seriously - it was like I just completed the Boston Marathon, I felt accomplished! We weathered the storm, stayed patient, didn't give up....kept going in spite of failing over and over and over again. Eventually, we learned from every mistake and won - it was beautiful in the end.
Our lives are like that. What is the goal you want the most? What is our heart yearning for? What is our purpose drawing us towards? Well, as you already know - your purpose is drawing you towards mountains that seem insurmountable, to oceans that are more vast than you've ever seen, to valleys deeper than you've imagined, etc. Our purpose is drawing is into the most dangerous jungle ever created, filled with dangerous animals, vicious weather, etc.
Many who attempt to travel through this jungle fail and never try again. Many people that played the Zelda game - never fully completed it. Why? Because it takes WEEKS lol not many people are willing to put that time in to fail over and over again...they gave up. They were sane. The same is true for life. Most hit a few major road blocks and park their car and bus it back home. They aren't willing to weather the storm, take their licks, fail over and over and over again and continue to come back. They see how ugly and dangerous the journey is and quit...if they only knew, if they only had the faith in their hearts to fully understand that if they "faint not" and keep going - it will all be oh so beautiful in the end.
It will be. Are you willing to weather the storm and learn from it? Learn from the failure and leave it all on the field of life? Are you willing to not take "no" for an answer no matter how dim the light is? Yes. I know you're called to do just that and this message is for YOU. Keep doing what you're doing champion...you're needed. I know it's rough man, God I know it too well. Too well. Weather the storm like a good Soldier...the world needs what you have. #keepgoing 👊🏾
